Announcing the Dewey Decibel Stand-Up Comedy Tour

Make your library the home for the very best in stand-up comedy this summer by booking Chili Challis, former staff writer for the Tonight Show.

Chili has headlined clubs, casinos, and college and corporate shows for more than 20 years. Besides his work on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he's also been a creative consultant on CMT's Mabe in America, and he finds time to be a favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom radio show as well as NPR's Conversations with Creative Minds.

Chili has written for and worked with the likes of George Lopez, Steve Harvey, Sinbad, Drew Carey, and Ellen DeGeneres. He has extensive experience opening shows for musical acts such as Todd Rundgren, Count Basie, and Ray Charles.

Chili will be joined on the Dewey Decibel Comedy Tour by Kevin Kramis. Kevin performs more than 45 weeks per year, is a regular in Las Vegas, and writes material for a number of comedians. A veteran comic noted for his universal appeal, with stage presence and off-beat improvisations that captivate and involve audiences, Kevin has performed everywhere from major arenas to a maximum-security prison. He has opened for Tim Allen, Jeff Foxworthy, Three Dog Night, and others.

Together, their 60-minute, high-energy, side-splitting act will showcase quick wit and quirky fun for all ages. Definitely not your grandfather’s typical library experience, the Dewey Decibel Stand-Up Comedy Tour is sure to be your community’s funniest summer attraction!
